Associate Professional Counselor

Tykeria Cowart is a mental health therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, ADHD, and life transitions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices that help clients develop practical tools for lasting change.

Tykeria integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She works with young adults through older adults seeking greater emotional clarity, stronger relationships, and improved well-being.

Her goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward in their lives.

As part of professional practice requirements, Tykeria Cowart receives clinical supervision from Maribelle Ortiz, LCSW 7592, to support ongoing professional development and maintain the highest standards of care.
